I'm already taking 3 fish oil capsules per day! have been for about 6 months (its supposed to be helpful for PND, its unfortunately not helping my memory though!)
If you want something homeopathic or natural I'd suggest going to see a naturopath. There would literally be a million things you could probably take!
GL! xx
I think you need to take more than 3, more like 6 to have any real benefit for memory.
When I was in Year 12, Mum bought me herbal tablets, I think they were called MEM AID or MEM AD. They really did help me in retaining things I had learned.
I would love to see a naturopath but i really can't afford to just yet, we are having lots of the big bills come in now from my hospitalisation, stuff that the private insurance didn't cover (like radiology, scans etc).
Perhaps i'll just ask at my local health food shop tho...
Yep, a good health food shop with a natropath should give you some free over-the-counter-advice. This is what I receive from my natropath.
Regarding memory: I have heard that rosemary, maybe burned as an essential oil... or maybe even eaten (like on a roast) helps with memory... probably only a tiny bit but sometimes you have to do a few things simultaneously with alternative therapies.
i used to take these combined for immune and memory
also i find doing little brain teaser puzzles help stimulate the brain and keep it active and this helped my memory a bit not drastically but i could remember a list or items to get form teh store
In regards to the fish oil, my tub says "1000 mg, take 3 times day with food for best results", do you think its safe to take more than what it recommends?
