    New things in Italics

    Age: 32 months (29.5 months corrected)

    Spontaneous Words:

    * Car noises (brrrm)
    * 'Dats' (updated, no longer says 'da-da')
    * 'bye' (updated, now says bye)
    * 'Mumma'
    * 'oops' (updated, no longer uses ehts)
    * 'na-na' (banana)
    * 'ta' (updated, no longer says da)
    * 'docks' (socks)
    * 'dar' (car)
    * 'o-oh'
    * 'lol-lol' (lolly)
    * 'ball'
    * 'guck' (truck)
    * 'bubba'
    * 'bots' (bottle and broken)
    * 'nana' [/i]
    * 'ot' (hot)
    * 'bath'
    * 'mooo' (cow noise)
    * 'baaa' (sheep noise)
    * 'Stuts' (stuck)

    Sentences (two or more words put together)
    * 'ta mum'
    * 'bye-bye'

    Mimic words(he understands and does mostly when you ask)
    * 'dink' (drink)
    * 'pease' (please)
    He tries to mimic most words when you engage him into speaking.

    Can Follow these Instructions:
    * 'Put that in the bin' (you need to point at what it is you want in the bin)
    * 'put your plate in the sink' (will also do this without command)
    * 'Pick it up' (same as the bin thing, must point to what it is)
    * 'Pull out the plug' (takes a lot of encouraging, but he will do it)
    * 'Open/Close the door' (takes a lot of encouragement)
    * 'Pack away' (will do with help)

    Actions:
    * Waving
    * Pointing
    * Clapping
    * Shakes head for 'no'
    * Pointing to Body Parts (knows most body parts now)
    * Puts his finger to his lips and does 'sssss' (SHHH)

    Thanks I'm so proud of him.

    As his ears and hearing gets better so does his speech

    Special Update:
    Yesterday, for the first time, Brendan said: "Wub Mummy"

    Age 2yr 11m 5d

    I'll post an update next month of the list

    I'm so proud of him! He is only repeating what I say atm, but hopefully it wont be long and it'll be a spontaneous word!

    Brendan isn't saying any more words,but he is starting to do some 3-word sentences and a lot more 2-word ones.

    His group speech sessions finish up on Friday and hopefully they re-start them next term.
