    Excellent news!!!

I have a few things to add here so bear with me!

Firstly... we have Brendans appointment with the childrens hospy for his surgery! 8/9!! SO SOON, they only rang yesterday! He is finally going to have his tongue-tie fixed!! YAY!

Secondly... Our CHN visit was this morning and we have reached an important milestone.... 10kg!

I firstly just want to thank fortified milk (Super milk cows milk+formula, no water) and thank you for snacks high in all the goodies, perfect for gaining weight!

    Last weigh @ 16 months 27/6
    W: 9660gms
    L: 76cms
    HC: 47cms

    THIS WEIGH @18 months 29/8
    HC: 47.5cms (+0.5)
    L: 80cms (+4)
    W: 10.? kg!!!! (+ min of 340gms!!!!!!!)

Unfortunately due to wriggle pot, we could not get an accurate
reading, the scales went between 10.0 and 10.2kg!!!!!

    His %iles are:
    actual age, (corrected age)
    W: 10th %ile line (midway between 10th and 25th %ile lines)
    L: 25th %ile line (50th %ile line)
    HC: midway between 25th and 50th %ile lines (50th %ile line)

And lastly... I asked the CHN about brendan snoring (my dad has sleep apnoea) and I was concerned that he sometimes wasn't getting enough air, I've had to reposition him twice to breathe properly, so she is going to look into where we go to get it checked properly! I'll have to let you know of the outcome...

So I am REALLY happy today

*ETA* We have achieved self feeding... TODAY!! I'm so happy I have it on video.. HERE

I am so pleased He even ate 95% of it!

120gms pureed vegies, 6 dinosaur pasta's (the babies pasta) mixed with Farex!!

YAY I'm so proud of my lil man

    OMG
    That is soo awesome
    Our premmies are little fighters!

Dont you love that 10kg mark- its such an achievement
and self feeding without food gagging- wow! What a champ

its the little milestones that make the big ones so much more achievable
    NEVER UNDERESTIMATE A PREM!
He will get there- just when he is good and ready- and dont let anyone else tell you that he isnt doing this at the 'proper' time- it just puts so much pressure on use parents

You are doing a fantastic job and he is thriving b/c of your hard work and belief in him
    Hang in there
Give you little man a big cuddle for us
