If I recall correctly, you're soon to approach the gestational timeframe when you popped with Leilani.
So, here I am wishing you LOTS & LOTS of full term vibes for the impending birth of Ben.
*full term vibes*
Lots of good luck to you sweetheart, I hope you make it all the way to your C-Sec date and have as an empowering birth experience as you can this time around.
its a strange time to get to after having a prem, i kind of sat around all day with my second pregnancy at 33+3weeks thinking i wonder if my waters are going to go on me today....
It's strange indeed ... I'm actually feeling pregnant this time around and like my ob said this morning "I'm almost in uncharted waters" I was just thinking this morning while driving the 60km home from the hospital ... it's always possible my waters can break RIGHT NOW and then I would have to drive back
My ob is SO positive that I'll be going full term with this bubba, so I really apreciate all the full term vibes that are flying this way.
Bubba is actually around 2.07kg alread ... to me that is HUGE That is more than what dd weighed when she got home after a month in NICU.
Thinking of you Nadine. It is so great that this little man is already bigger than your DD at birth. Friends of ours just had a beautiful little girl at 39 weeks - which was a huge relief as their DS (who is thankfully a healthy 3yo) had been born at 24 weeks. So history doesn't have to repeat and I have a great feeling that this baby will stay put for a lot longer for you.
Snuggley vibes to you little Ben My first brother was born at 32 weeks, and I remember how nervous mum was when she got to 32 weeks with my other brother... Well history doesn't always repeat, though hers was a bittersweet victory as she went 10 days over in the height of summer Good luck, and i hope NOT to hear a birth announcement until mid-December!
2.07kg is a real good weight also, your cooking him good!!
I cant remember why did DD come early?
If it was PROM although its an increased chance of it happening again something that quiet often doesnt happen again. My second pregnancy ended with my waters breaking again but hey at 38weeks it was welcomed!!
I'm also hoping no BA till mid-Dec AND I'm keeping my fingerscrossed that my ob does infact let me carry him till 39 weeks .. that is the latest cut-off date he will allow.
Nickers - I developed HELLP at 33+5 weeks. OB says the chance of that happening again is very small, so I'm holding onto that. But then there are always PE, PROM, ect (Knows a lot more since joining BB) There is also a chance that dd would give me a fright and my waters will just pop ... like yesterday ... she smashed her little tiny head against the bedside table and have a beautifull shinner to show for it. Poor little rugrat.
CM - LOL Feels more like he is hanging upside down, his little toes stuck between my ribs ...
Sally - Been feeling good. Bit tired, are starting to have "lovely" tossing nights, but overall A-OK
Ren - Ya little tease ... I'll keep my eyes open THANKS hun.
