Henry was born on the 3rd of October 2010, he was 8 and 1/2 weeks early, he was born in Melbourne at the Mercy for Women, he weighed 1525gms. I have bipolar and did not know I could become pregnant. So he is very special, he was in NICU for 3 weeks, then transfered to Bendigo SBCU all the nurses and doctors in both places were so nice, supportive and looked after him. He started in crib 6 and when they moved him to crib 18 I cried cos I did not know they moved him I thought he had not made it I was happier when I saw him in the new crib, they also told me that he graduated closer to the fat farm, he got moved once more into crib 32 I was so happy that he was progressing but my milk did not come in I was a little stressed about this I tried to pills and everything. When I was told he was coming home and that he was going to live at SBCU (Special Baby Care Unit) I was happy because this meant he was coming home to our house. I got over the fact I could not breast feed him but formula was new friend and cleaning bottles etc was a way of my new life. Before we left to take Henry home were we on the front page of our local newspaper. I just took him yesterday to have his 6 month injections, all by my self for the second time. He is six months old now doing very well.
