Oh Sally, that's fantastic that he is doing so well already. I am sure you are noticing a huge difference from the extra weeks of gestation this time. I am really glad that things are easier for you this time

    No transfer today
They are keeping him on the monitor for another 24 hours and his Bilirubin levels have come up (He has Jaundice)
He has to be off the monitor and his Bilirubin levels have to be coming down BEFORE we can be transferred to Northam.
They are ringing today to see if they even have a bed for us.... if they don't we are stuck here longer.

I just want to get back into Northam where all my support is, I mean you guys are great, but I really need to have my family close. I told the Dr this morning that I didn't care if we are in Northam for 2 weeks, I need my support network and thats where it is, I have no-one down here. I just hope that he taes that into consideration, because Tristen is not sick... he's perfectly healthy, they just have rules they have to follow. Which they can do in Northam!

I'm doing ok, and the experience is MUCH MUCH different this time around. With Brendan it was touch and go and there were a few times in his first few days where we really thought he wasn't going to make it, this time I dont have that Tristan is healthy, he's only here because of the 'rules' and if it weren't for the jaundice we'd be going home today I reckon.
