    Amby hammock

After another sleepless night due to wind pains which get worse when he is lying on his back, I was thinking it might be worth tryiing a hammock.
Was wondering what peoples experiences were like with these?
Also, would I be better hiring one than buying one?

I LOVE our Amby hammock Kellie! It's definitely worth a try. You could always hire one to see if he likes it first? Then look at buying one?

    Will PM you

I think it's till they're around 8kg. You should get at least 6 months use out of it

Yes it depends on legth and weight of the baby.
DS1 was in his til about 5months, but DS2 hated it.

They can withstand up to 40kg (not that you'd leave them in their that long LOL). DS1 was in his until he was 23 months old . He wouldn't sleep anywhere else! DD is 8.5 months old and still has her day naps in it. My sister used hers for her DS until he was 18 months old. So basically you can use them for a long time if your bub is happy in there!

Haha, I know Cheshire! He worked out how to bounce himself in it and just LOVED it. He refused to sleep in his cot so the hammock was a life saver. The best part was that it is so portable, so if we went away he always had his familiar bed with him. We got our moneys worth LOL!
