We used to have a ford falcon - only 2 x anchor points. We paid $20 for another to be installed...(the point was there, but no attachment). We got prof. done.

most palces where you buy the seat from will do free instalation..

in camrys if its a sedan tehre will be one in the middle under the brake light in the abck window.

or if a hatch will be on the back where the boot closes.

my parents elantra which si a 98 model has 3 from factory on the back.

    thanks ladies.

i tried calling my mum but shes not answering her phone. DP did call around and a guy said all cars sold in australia legally have to have one if not the anchor itself but a hole to put one in.

On the parcel shelf there are plastic clips that pop down & there will be a thread under those & the anchor bolt that comes with your baby seat screws into that

from my experience Toyota Camry sedans have their anchor points whether the bolt is already fitted or the hole is there for one to be fitted on the parcel shelf, for the station wagon version they are behind the seats on either the floor or on the back of the seats. There should be either an anchor point already fitted or a threaded hole for one to be fitted, maybe you've just missed it.
