Not happy with tandem pram!

I have bought the Babylove tandem pram but am really unhappy with it. My 13 month old DD in the front seat seems to slide forward and the strap between her legs ends up really tight - I sure wouldn't find it comfortable so I can't see how she does! The seat seems to angle down a bit and isn't very deep. Does anyone have this pram and not have a problem (maybe mine's a dud?) or does anyone have a tandem pram where the baby in the front seat doesn't have slide issues?

i hate this pram and i hate it to!!
we found that having makon in the front it was veryvery hard to steer so ended up putting him in the back and arquene in the front once she was able to sit
