I don't have the City Select, but the City Elite and I love it. I have a capsule (a Maxi Cozi) for it for baby #2 to use in Singapore Taxis.

I totally think it's worth spending more on a pram first go, rather than being unhappy with a choice just because it was a bit cheaper.
