Not sure about the ones with the camera, but I know lots of girls on here swear by the sound and movement ones that have pads underneath bubs. I have a regular sound one with a red light - we still use it now and I like that even if I have the sound off I can use the light. Not too sure about a video one, seems a bit OTT to me, and I am about as paranoid a mother as you can get but that's just MHO. I also think it would depend on how big your house is. At our old place I didn't even use the monitor because I didn't need to when her door was open. Good luck searching! One other thing I would make sure is that it is a multi-channel one so that if you get interference you can change it over.
