Baby Saftey Capsule Safe N Sound - Installation and Missing belt

My friend passed me a used Baby Saftey Capsule Safe N Sound (Polo) - I believe it's the same as this one: Baby Saftey Capsule Safe N Sound (Polo). I'm driving Honda Civic 1993 1.5.

When I checked with online manual, I believe I need a extra belt?
Also, do you think it will fit in my car?
Who should I go for installation (reasonable price) and checking the safety of it?

Sorry, I'm new to this at all.

    Thank you.

Most mechanics will fit one. I phoned up and asked and the first call i made did it. Not sure what state you are in, but if you do an internet search you will find someone who offers a restraint fitting service. You can buy extension straps at k-mart and baby stores. I presume this is the strap that is missing as when i gave my capsule to my cousin i needed the extension strap for the new seat we got.

Are you missing the small strap that attaches to the anchor point of your car? This strap is commonly missing from second hand capsules because the original owners tend to leave it in their cars and find it later! If it is that one, you can buy them from most baby stores for around $30. Otherwise try looking on eBay (just be careful not to buy an actual extension strap, that's a different thing again).

Lots of places fit car seats. I know Hire For Baby do, the one I know of does it much cheaper than other fitting places. I don't know what state you're in, but in Victoria, the RACV have fitting stations. You could try calling the equivalent in your state.

Jen27 - You should be able to download the user manual from the Britax website. Go to www dot britax dot com dot au. Then under the Child Car Seats menu, select "Infant Carriers Birth to 9kg", click on the picture of the capsule and it should give you an option to view or download the user manual.
