i would be reluctant to use long sleeves in hospital - they are often kept really warm and you may find baby over heats. from what i can gather, you're better off having more lighter layers (so normal singlet or singlet suit, nightie or sleepsuit) and then wrap them for warmth in an appropriate blanket for the temperature, rather than having too much on them and have them over heat. this is important if you BF as well, as having you and baby in close contact, as well as being in a warm hospital may over heat them


My hospital list asks for "6 vests". I have bought 6 x wool/cotton long-sleeved singlets as bub is due in July. Do they qualify?
