    Red face baby singlet?

Another really stupid one My hospital list asks for "6 vests". I have bought 6 x wool/cotton long-sleeved singlets as bub is due in July. Do they qualify?

i would be reluctant to use long sleeves in hospital - they are often kept really warm and you may find baby over heats. from what i can gather, you're better off having more lighter layers (so normal singlet or singlet suit, nightie or sleepsuit) and then wrap them for warmth in an appropriate blanket for the temperature, rather than having too much on them and have them over heat. this is important if you BF as well, as having you and baby in close contact, as well as being in a warm hospital may over heat them

It's handy to have some short sleeved ones as well. They are cheap as (I really like the ones you buy at Franklins, LOL!). If you dress bubby in the next size up (i.e. if bubs is in 000 clothes, use 00 singlets) then they are really easy to get on and off.

Depends on the hospital...the one i went to, i would say the items you have bought are perfect. The hospital was cold, the only area kept warm was the delivery rooms. NB's dont hold their temps to well either.

hmm yeh we didn't take anything either.

a little hint is to dress them in the same as you. but in winter add a singlet.
if you have your thurmals on than put on bubs and if your in trackies and a hoodie same 4 bub etc. it makes life a little simpler with less thinking.

    enjoy your day
