I have the Baby Beehinds fitted bamboo nappies, they're very absorbant and worth the money IMO. Haven't a had problem with them.

Check out Baby Beehinds & Itti Bittis. There are heaps more on the market, but that's all I use. I've never used Ebay ones so can't give advice there.

Check out the cloth nappy forum for so much info you won't know what to do with it all!

For what it's worth, I second the Baby Beehinds and Ittis - but probably not for a newborn. For containment prefolds and covers and generally recommended for the two layers of defence against newborn poo, plus you go through a lot more nappies with a newborn.

I recently bought some Haute bamboo prefolds off ebay from the Ozbabytrends store - they are exceptionally cheap for bamboo but not sure how many they would still have left. They are beautiful and soft and small enough for newborn.

hello lovely Dr. Tal I bought some of the bamboo foldups/prefolds/boosters from Baby Behind and intend to use them as a prefold with a flushable liner and fasten with a snappy and then put a newborn baby beehinds PUL cover on it during the day and a wool one during the night. They feel really soft and I'm happy with them so far... I'm also looking at getting a couple bamboo Velour lushies from sustainable hemp products because they are supposed to be really soft and lush... I haven't had any experience of if any of this works either so not sure that is much help

I am a huge fan of Spunky Butts fitteds and Maz covers for newborns,
but there are sooo many out there. THe cloth nappy section is really the place to go, but you're right, bamboo is fantastic.
I have BabyBeehinds, Bundles of Buns (far far better than Ittis IMO), Minilalas, Ishflys, Monkeydoodlez, Cushie Tushies, Cute Tooshies fitteds, ummmm well there are just lots.
    Good luck.
Where are you? Maybe one of the clothies girls (or even me I'm just not ever there much) lives near you so you can have a feel and a play of their stash?

Baby Beehind Bamboo are the only ones I really, really love. DD uses them everyday & I haven't had a problem with any of them. They feel really good on her bum & they're pretty easy to use. 9/10 for me, real workhorse of a nappy.

TBH though, I didn't use them on DD until she was about 6 weeks old. It was too hard trying to keep up with everything else so I went disposables for the first 6 weeks until I had a better handle on things. From then on though, they've been great.

If you can get to a baby expo the major retailers are there so you can see them IRL. baby beehinds are very reliable. One piece of advice I got was dont buy too much of one type of nappy til you know what suits your bub and it was very true.

    Have fun!!

We use baby behinds too. Very good and last until toilet training.
