We recently (about a month ago) brought DD (2.5) a Safety 1st Vienna Booster. I think its wonderful and so does she Very soft and comfortable, cup holders, adjustable head rest etc. We both preffered this over the Maxi Rider carseats.
Apparently there's a new one out in the Safety 1st range with head air bags - we are looking at this one mainly because it goes from 8kg up to 26kg i think and has the inbuilt 5 point harness that can be stored away to you the seat belt later on. Anyway it's on the bubs n grubs website if you want to take a look.
We have a Maxi-rider but I'm in the market for a new one.
THe Maxi-rider is OK, but ridiculously priced, not as high in the safety ratings as it used to be and stupidly wide if you have a small car or need three seats across the back.
Freya had a similar thread a while back....see if I can find it.
I got a hipod senator from target. Rated to 26kg. Can do a five point harness and the seat belt later when they get bigger. Rated quite high on the safety aspect to.
We have the Baby Love Ezy Combo Convertible Booster for DD1 and like it so much we just went and bought another for DD2 she loves her big chair as she calls it
