We already got an ergo, with the newborn insert. I imagine we`ll use that for bigger outings or if baby has a preference for it over whatever else we get
I have read a view reviews that say the Bubba Moe is tricky to get baby in and out of and also that its not so comfortable for wearing for a long time, but I guess if we have the Ergo for long wears, then the BM would only really be worn around the home or at the library, supermarket etc?
We are both after something we can just chuck on, and DH wants to have that snuggly feel/time. Im guessing the ergo takes a bit of adjusting from one wearer to the next, but the BM looks quicker to adjust. Is that right?
Cost wise and storage wise we dont want to end up with loads of different carriers, so I am hoping the BM will work well for us in conjunction with the Ergo.
I may end up making my own yet...some of the slings look very simply made, but I dont like that they are all size specific.
We have a Bubba Moe. I am quite petite though and I can't get it to adjst small enough for me, so the buckle digs into my shoulder when it is as small as it goes. I also have a Bubzilla sized sling that fits me perfectly. DH can use the Bubba Moe with no hassles. If it helps the Bubzilla site has videos showing how to put it on and the different carries. I prefer videos to diagrams.
Ali, I'm glad you found something that suits you. I had exactly the same problem (not with the Bubba Moe, which I have only ever tried on, never used, but with the Baby Rock, which is very similar). They are great slings if you fit within the range of adjustability but many petite people find that they are unable to get them tight enough.
