i have the bugaboo gecko (came out between the frog and chameleon). and i have NEVER looked back. unlike many of the girls in my mums group i have never had to go out and buy a different pram (many have replaced their initial prams as they were too large, bulky to move around shops/public transport etc etc). we have the one pram and it has suited ALL our needs.
i believe that if you are going to be using the pram alot, then it is so worth the extra investment to spend a bit more (especially if it is in your means). it is a very versatile pram and can take quite alot of hard use (oh and can have all the fabric chucked in the washing machine!).
as for the bee: my friend has one and yeah, like the others have said it is a stroller focused pram. it is nifty that it has the forward and rear-facing and can be used for newborns really well (with the cocoon). one thing that turned me off slightly was that some ppl that i have spoken to that use it have mentioned that it still needs some ironing out on the details. (unfortunately i didnt ask for details!). i love that it is compact and the price is awesome for a bugaboo and you still get cool colours to play with.
i would also check out ebay for good bargains on these prams. i firmly believe that you wont get ripped off going second hand for this brand as they are sooo well made.
