i had a friend do our capsule as i'd never fitted one - it was easy enough looking at the instructions, but i wanted to be sure. i took it out last week and realised i could have done it - but given it was a car i'd never had a seat in, i wanted to be sure in case the angle of the seat was wrong

i have put the follow on seat in though - have done that heaps with carseats for my bro's kids - so i didn't feel the need for that one

For all the money we spend on car seats to keep our kids safe, it's only $20 - $30 to get them fitted professionally.
Ten minutes of your time, and a professionally fitted car seat doesn't move AT ALL on the seat. We have never been able to get the seats that secure on our own. Ring the RACV or state equivalent to find out where they are done.
Just our own two cents worth.....
