I got my kids flannelette sheets from Target. They are good quality. In my DD's room we run a little oil heater. It has a timer and I have it timed to go on at around 11pm-5am. I have it set so it just takes the chill off the room. It doesn't seem to have made any difference to our electricity bill.

im hoping too once we carpet the house it makes a difference to the kids rooms
they have carpet in their rooms but the rumpus room doesnt

once winter sets in if they are still too cold ill look into a small heaters (but i do worry about the safety side and the cost)

Hi hun, we have a sheepskin underlay and flannel fitted sheet in DS's cot and he loves it. I have the bonds wondersuit on him too and he sleeps in a warm grobag. I do have a small oil heater in his room but it's costing us a small fortune. He ends up in our bed most nights anyway

on frezzing nights i would let my children sleep in my bed so i know 100% they are warm but my son gets hyped up in my bed lol and missy tries to strangle me lol and they both wake up way too early sleeping in my bed

I hear you hun! I end up sleeping on a tiny bit of bed I will have to break this habit soon, it's all DF's fault when he left me for 6 months when he worked o/s and I was just scared and lonely in my bed so at any chance I would drag DS into it, lol.
