    Cots

    Hi Girls,

I was just wondering what the new laws are on cots as my aunty still had my old cot from 23 years ago. Is it still legal to use them and are they still safe?

Hi Rinnie, I have found a link which may help you (it's a pdf document I found on google) which outlines the Australian Standards when it comes to purchasing a cot (including minimum requirements).

(Sorry Mods - I don't know how to hide the link properly.. )

It might also pay to go to the Sids and Kids website and go to safe sleeping! There is a heap of info there about cots etc but also blankets, how to wrap, etc. HtH!
