Cradle/bassinet or cot?

I don't think you're silly Besides myself everyone I know has put their bub straight into a cot. We used a large cradle but I don't think there is anything wrong with using a cot from the start.

Sometimes a cosy space can help with a baby settling well. I would probably use a tetra snuggle bed in the cot to make a nice small space within the cot. Also have the mattress up high so your back is saved.

In the end it is totally up to you.
