Double Pram Dilemma!!

I love my Emmalunga pram (although it's not a double)... but I wouldn't buy one if you had to fold it up and put it in your car on a daily basis. Emmas are EXTREMELY sturdy but with sturdiness comes weight. My Emma is also bigger allowing more room than your average pram. I have seen double Emmas on Ebay. I imagine buying one new would be expensive. But I can vouch for their quality.

Michael - that's good to hear. I wonder why the Mountain Buggy website does not advertise the fact that it takes a mother-facing bassinette with a forward facing toddler simultaneously?
On their website it only advertises that the double can be used with either 2 bassinettes (carry cots) or one extra large 'twin' carrycot - but not 1 carrycot and one seat.
They also only show pictures of the pram with the carrycot for 2 - or the seats for 2, but not the carrycot/toddler option - which led me to believe that it must not be an option!
Now I'm totally confused.... Bit of a bummer about the sun cover needing to come off the toddler when carrycot is attached. I had wondered that also.... Probably not much of an issue in New Zealand (where the pram is made) but certainly not a good option if you live in bright sunny Perth!!

Bathsheba- I did look into the Emmaljunga Cangaroo double - it does look like a top quality pram. But like you say, the downsides were that it was expensive (sigh) and a bit on the heavy side. The German Teutonia Team Alu Duo is the same.
So now I am down to Firstwheels, EasyWalker Duo or Mountain Buggy (without hood/cover for 6 months or so....).

Yael - Thanks. I did come across the firstwheels twin on the oo website. Awesome price - but its a bit of a bummer that it is only avail in the red and the black. They have so many beaut colours...... I contacted the head office in Netherlands to see if I could order accessories directly from them and unfortunately they don't provide that service - it has to be through one of the local distributors. Don't suppose you know somewhere else in Australia who sells a broader range?
