Dumb question: What are tags for on toys?

Mind you the tag toys are no match for the real tags he knows the difference!

DD is the same! She has a few taggy toys but still preferred to play with the real tag! Lol.
It's just a sensory thing for them, dunno why they are so obsessive though, DD went through a stage of playing with the tags more than she played with the toy!
