JJ was a mid-October baby and we are in Melbourne so we still had pretty cool nights and he had quite a few thin cotton long sleeved and legged suits for him to wear when the nights were cool early on. I wouldn't think it would hurt to at least get say 4 -6 of the thin cotton ones to rotate at night if you need them.

Depends where you are... In Perth, November is well and truly hot, but nights are still mild a lot of the time, so short all the way with the odd longsleeve is what we had for DD1 (nov 19).
If I were still in Melb or somewhere, there would have been waaay more long sleeve things

I'm in Sydney and it would probably be mixed weather, though by Dec it would be very warm. I'm thinking a couple of 0000's just in case long sleeve, 000 & 00 mixed long sleeve and summer and 0 winter clothes. Does that sound about right? Thanks

Mum2Romone - I'm thinking what if a boy pops out and they got the ultrasound wrong! I might just pack it all into some bags and put away somewhere just in case. Though part of me was looking forward to clearing out and starting afresh. If anyone has any time I have some pics in my album in my profile, what do you think is it straight forward enough to assume its a girl? My sil said she thought it was bad karma to ditch the clothes, I'm so undecided!

I am in Sydney. DD2 is still pretty much in 0's she still fits 00's even though she is a chubby bub (in the 90th% for weight)I just know that buying the 0's I get more wear out of them.
DD2 slept in cotton jumpsuits at night until about mid dec then but she never liked been wrapped. When it got hot and stayed hot over night she was in short sleeve overnight.

Both, although more short sleeves. We're in Brisbane, baby was born on December 9th, and we still needed long sleeved stuff. And a cardigan.
