    Ergo Carrier - Sport Model

    Hi ladies,

does anyone have this carrier and if so, is it significantly cooler than the standard Ergo? My DD2 is a little heater and i trialled a friends standard Ergo and it was just too hot for both her and so i was wondering if the Sport model is actually cooler as stated on their website?

    any info greatly appreciated!

I have the sport. DH tried on all the models at the preg&baby expo & yes it's much lighter. It's great, we love it & have used it from birth. It's really comfortable & easy to use! We went for the sport because you can always dress bub warmer but much harder to keep them cooler on a hot day.

I have the Sport, too. I haven't used it much yet, have been using the Breeze Baby. Am I the only one who feels like you need to be a contortionist to put the Ergo on? I have a lot of trouble with the strap across the back and even the studs for the sleepy hood seem very far back and difficult to reach?

Nickle - I just leave the hood attached to the snaps and it tucks into the pocket when you aren't using it. As for the strap across the back, I can't do it either, but have never really needed to either, DH does it for me if I want it done up if he is there.

Negrita - yes, it is much lighter and much cooler than the original.

Have you tried loosening the strap all the way out before you put it on? I don't have trouble with mine but maybe I have bendy arms

lol to bendy arms babyluv, I am the same.. I can do it up but I have flexible shoulders...

I have the original Ergo and it is a bit hot but not too bad. I probably should have gotten the sport cause we should be getting posted to Townsville after here!! oops.

Just wondering if anyone knows any BB marketplace members that sell this style? Or if anyone on BB has one they would like to sell??

    TIA!
