Well, I've tried em all.....

We had a cradle as opposed to a bassinette for DD....she learned to roll at 6weeks and could rock the cradle leading to head bumps so that was out and she went into the cot/co-slept.

DS as you know has been a nightmare. We started with a snuggle bed...was great for a couple of days...then he hated that (so Leanne's Joshua has it now), then I got a reasonably priced hammock at 4months old. He loved it for 2 months only...so now the only place he will sleep is our bed .
I have sold his cot just recently even though i love it, because no amount of persuasion will have him in it.

That wasn't much help was it?
If I ever flukily fall pregnant again I would get a hammock again (PM me and I can tell you where I got it). They have really good resale value. However they take up a bit of space with the stand, so if you need something smaller get a bassinette or cradle.
