That was my reasoning behind getting one too lol, it backfired on me big time. I did have a peg perego one though (not old, was not even a year old since manufacture when i got it) and i think they are a little heavier than the ones you get from target etc, but the other brands dont last as long either (peg capsules you can have baby in till they are 12 mths alot of the time cos they have the length in them) which is why i went for the peg, that and i have a peg pram. I think i still would have had the same issues had i had a smaller capsule though, i just found it awkward and heavy. But if you want to give it a try, by all means go for it . Or you could wait till baby is born and see if you use the sling alot and what suits you then and purchase what you need accordingly.
Haha thanks for that. It had occured to me thats why I didn't get one for ds, but then I wish I had lol. I guess ill try it still n just figure out prams, thats really my main confusion.

As for adjusting straps, yeh my dad showed me how to do it, but I suck so didn't do it. I would've hated to be to be out with it loose n not being able to get it right again lol.

As for ur prams, are they similar to phil n ted style? With infant underneath? Im not a fan of how awkward it is to put a sleeping babe in.

No. I had a phil n teds and absolutely hated it. The BJ city mini double is a side by side, but its pretty narrow - fits through a standard doorway.
