Help what car to get for 3 kids under 5 :)

Hope this is the right section! would love some help!

We currently have a Mazda 3 sedan, DH thinks there will be enough space for 3 carseats pram etc in there, but there will be not enough room for shopping too will be really squishy, also I have a really bad back, so putting a kid in the middle and trying to do seatbelt up its going to be a nightmare!

Sooooo for those with 2 kids about to get a 3rd or have 3 or more kids, what car do you have??? what do you recommend?

    Thanks!!!!

My friend had the mid sized Jeep. It was a fantastic height for putting kids in, would easily fit 3 car seats and there was enough room in the back for both our prams, nappybags and about a week's worth of groceries.

df has a vn commodore sedan, theres enough room in the back with ds1 & 2 in booster seats to put dd in and out of her car seat. there would be enough room in the boot for the pram if it didnt have 2 huge sub-woofers!! i have a vn station wagon witch we are looking at getting a 3rd row seat put in for when bub no 4 comes next year. do you use the pram when you go shopping? i know we dont safeway and coles both have great trollies now that carer for families with more then one small child.
as for the nappy bag, it fits at there feet on the back floor as they dont realy use the space.

I have a hyundai Santa fe, I love it. It has room for three seats for three under 4, the pram and shopping no problems and it's cheaper than the other suv's. I have a bad back too and it's easy getting the pram in and out.

We are currently looking into the Nissan Dualis + 2. It's a mid sized seven seater.
We currently drive a Mondeo and they fit our 3 in the back very easily.
Looking into a 7seater as DS1 wants to bring friends home from school

We have a mitsubishi 380 and you can fit 3 car seats well in the back n the boot is HUGE!! We bought it when we got pg cause I had a 3 door Hyandai accent... and that was NOT going to work! lol. It's a good sized car if you want a sedan still instead of a SUV or station wagon.

My brother n sister in law have a Suzuki Grand Vitara 7 seater and they have all 3 kids in the one row, fit prams, shopping, etc in the back cause you can fold up the seats in the back to make a huge boot area. We will prob get something like this in a couple of years cause we want 4 kids.

We have a vs commodore sedan. There is enough room for 3 carseats across the back and pram and groceries in the boot. I think if there is ANY chance you are going to go for number 4 you would be better going for a 7 seater. We have had to upgrade 2 times due to having more kids, the 1st one was a little 2 door and couldn't fit a reverse carseat in, and the 2nd one couldn't fit 3 carseats across the back.

Ditto that. We went from a Ford Focus to a Ford Falcon to a Toyota Kluger to a Toyota Tarago. If your going to stick with just the 3, I can recommend the Kluger if your looking for an SUV. Or Falcon is a bit squishy for 3 carseats and a pram + other things in the boot. Ive heard the wagon's are great though.

Wagons are great for space if they're your type of thing. SUV wise, a Kluger or a Territory is a good size. We have a Rav, it fits 3 across, but one day we'll upgrade to the Kluger when the girls get older.

We have a Toyota Altise that has the boys seats and an adult can also fit in the back so another seat will fit. Also the boot is huge.

DD1 & DH have a Ford wagon which is very roomy

My gf has a Volvo XC90 (I think) that has the capacity for seven seats and easily accommodates their three kids (they got it when all three were under five), plus my DD in another car seat when we stay (and three adults).

The Territory is an SUV. What style of car does he want, a wagon, or a people mover?
