Hipod Senator booster seat for a 2 year old?

    Hi all!

WIth this bub on the way we are forward planning for vehicle safety. I spotted the Hipod Senator booster seat in the target catalogue today with the built in harness. Does anyone use one of these for their 2 year old? Has anyone had issues? We didn't want to fork out for a convertible car seat that was only going to be used for a few months and then we'd have to shell out more. i know they pass the new safety laws standards but I was looking for some input into pros/cons/any similar brands that someone would recomend.

    Thanks in advance

Is this the one with the 5point harness?? If so then yes we have this, it is suitable from 8kg so for a 2yr old they are definitely ok. We have 4 carseats all up for our 2ds's..a set in each car. All 4 are hipod seats, I'm really happy with them. We put ds1 in the convertible booste just before ds2 was born, so he's been in it about 22-22months now and it looks still new..and the boys have eaten heaps in there.

Oh so he went in it at about 19-20months and he was absolutely fine in it. And to add I really believe in car safety i.e left the boys turned round for as long as possible etc so I wouldn't just say it would be ok if it wasn't really safe iykwim?
