Hiring baby capsule

Has anyone hired one. We plan to get it this weekend in North Brisbane.
Cost is $55 for 6 months.

Are they generally very clean when you get them?

Ours was spotless when we got it
Plus they put it in for us so we didn't have to do it, but they didn't tell us how to adjust the straps so standing outside the hospital with a newborn in the stinking hot summer last year whilst yelling at my poor DH who was trying to get the straps undone, was quite an experience!!!

LOL. ye we going to get ours from Bubby's hiring at Stafford, Bris.

They said no need to book just come in. Also the QLD Ambulance Service up at Caboolture does it too, but $10 more.

We hired one when our son was born for about $60 for 6 months from memory. It was very clean, the ambulance service fitted it for us and on return they even made sure that the car seat we bought ourselves was fitted correctly. Well worth evey cent to know that it is all safe. They are also great because when you get out of the car and bub is still asleep, the whole capsule comes out so bub doesn't need to be woken up at all.

we've hired one both times for the boys from the Qld ambo service (we were in townsville eat the time) and both were spotless. I think they only use the fabric liner once as both times ours have been new (didn't look like that on return especially after one reflux baby - ewww!)

hopefully we'll be able to find somewhere to hire one from this time in Perth, i think the red cross.
