I don't have mine yet for the kids, but friends have just used blue tack (sp?) or double sided tape (which would probably damage paint but would be Ok if they're going to be there for ages and if you aren't renting).

I used a glue gun for ours. The only thing with this is I'm not sure how easy they are to remove. So if you're renting, than I probably wouldn't advise it.

It depends on where they are going too - if they are above the cot you will want something REALLY secure.

I did DS's name with the wooden letters too but they are stuck on his bedroom door and I just used blu-tak...they haven't fallen off yet!

I used blutac too, but you might be able to buy that removable stuff like the hooks have...that 3M stuff?? KWIM?

I would use the 3M hooks like some of the other suggested. Or really good quality double sided tape would do the job - this would be the easiest option but probably will take off the paint when you go to remove it.

I used the 3M removeable tape stuff that comes with their hooks. You can buy the double sided tape as refills to go with the hooks & I used that. I had thought of blu-tac to start with but figure in the midde of summer they're likely to fall down when the blu-tac melts.

3M sell the removable tape separately & that works well
