ok, i had a similar post about hipod vs safe n sound. anyway i decided to go with safe n sound cause apart from the better reputation they were on sale at babies galore! i put the maxi rider AHR on layby for DD1 and the meridian convertable car seat on layby for DD2. now that i am thinking about it though i am wondering if i should get a maxi rider for DD2 as well. you can use them from 8kg to 26kg. DD2 is currently almost 4 months old and just over 6kg. i think on average they get to 8kg about 6months old.. so by the time my layby is up she will be almost 8kg anyway. however, is the maxi rider just as safe for the smaller age range or is the convertable car seat safer? would you put your 6 month old in a Maxi rider AHR?
