oh i swear i read another thread JUST like this one, in last two days, my memory is like a sieve, wish i could remember WHERE i saw it, so i could put down all the great suggestions. MIMCO and Isoki are the only ones i remember.

i would suggest too, when you go out in the car, pack a 2nd nappy bag (even if the contents are only in a shopping bag). so say you use the contents of the nappy bag (the one you keep in the pram) in the morning, you have the option to go out to the car, and swap over the used contents of the morning, for the clean contents of the car nappy bag.
Plonk the wetbag full of used mcn in teh shopping bag.
Plonk the clean nappies and an empty wetbag in your proper nappy bag.
all ready to start again.
So you can keep going.
(that's a good thing to do, for a long outing, all day outing).

having a spare nappy bag that is ALWAYS in the car is a good thing too.
there will always be SOME ocassion when you are caught short (child is sick and goes thru more than usual, car breaks down and you are out longer than expected etc).
i had a $1 opshop nappy bag as my car nappy bag. Saved my bacon on a few ocassions. Better than having to go buy a pack of sposies "because i didn't have any clean nappies with me".

for hand sanitisers in your nappy bag, the only alcohol free one i can find, is HANDS FIRST (google their site to find a stockist). all the other hand sanitisers seem to be 66% alcohol (!!!) HIGHLY FLAMMABLE, very dangerous to have around kids. If they lick your hand, after you've used that stuff, they can get alcohol poisoning. (i put this here, cos many people put hand sanitiser in the nappy bag).
