Hey all, I went looking at prams/strollers on the weekend...I already have a P&T sport, but wanted to get something lighter, and with reversible handles for the new bub. They had just got in the new combi, and I fell totally in love with it and bought one. It's 6.2kg, has reversible handles (like the other combi's) but the difference is that all wheels are able to swivel, and the back wheels lock automatically depending on which position you have the handle in. It is so easy to steer, so stable, folds up really small and so light - can take a baby from newborn to 20kg... I love it, and just wanted to share my excitement (DH doesn't share my enthusiasm for stroller inginuity!). It's a pretty emerald green and blue colour
Hi Juliette,
Well I can definitely say I share your excitement!! I'm only 16 weeks pregnant and have been on the lookout for only 4 weeks! I found this pram on Thursday at my local Pram Warehouse at Loganholme and was amazed. Everyone kept telling me I wouldn't find exactly what I wanted / needed but I have! It is so compact and light weight but still suitable for a new born right up to a 4 yr old. My key needs were easy to collapse/get up, light weight, reversible handle, easy to steer, 4 wheels not 3, but big and bulky and can put in boot with 1 hand. Now for a new born pram I was starting to think that was impossible! I saw the blue/emerald green one too, it's so nice. I'm not sure which colour I'm going to order I think I like the aqua one but not sure. I find out the sex of our little one in 3 1/2 weeks so may go purple if its a girl lol. Anyway, I hope the price tag is worth it, it may take me the rest of my pregnancy to pay for it
Hey Christine! Thanks for sharing in the excitement! I got mine from pram warehouse at Loganholme This bub is supposedly a girl, so I had a hard time choosing between the purple and green...
Prams have gone mad since I last had to buy one, almost 10 years ago. I went shopping today and the range was incredible. At last I came across the Combi Miracle turn which had pretty much all that I wanted. Though I am still not absolutely convinced of the colour choices or the huge price tag for that matter. I am due in 15 weeks, should I wait for a July sale or should I just pay the current retail price or are there other brands of comparible quality & less price.
Hi JellyBelly - pram warehouse has an online shop, which is much cheaper than the IRL shop, only the Miracle Turn is so new it hasn't been put on the site yet. If you have the time, I'd wait until it's listed... 10 or 20% off $700 odd dollars adds up. Having said that I got 10% off in store - I think I was just a real PITA to serve because I was so indecisive - I REALLY wanted the Miracle Turn, but was put off by the price - I ran around the shop test driving different prams, whinging about why none of them were as good as the MT So you never know your luck - they might reduce the price for you?
