We've also got the Strider DLX in toffee. Have only used it twice, but really happy with it so far. The frame folds down to be very compact, feels smooth to wheel around, really easy to attach & detach the bassinet and as BG said, it's nicely padded inside. I'll be interested to see how it performs long term.

I have the DLX too, but have only played with it so far as bubs isn't here until May. DH and I fell in love with the toffee color. We bought the pram cheap from an online store and received it a couple of days later. I love the padded newborn insert. It looks soooo comfy and feels devine.

Like someone else mentioned, the DLX comes with a foot muff, rain cover and shade cover, which the Strider 4 doesn't come with. Apparently the Strider 4 is really hard to buy a rain cover for if you have bubs facing you instead of forward. I have also heard that the wheels on the DLX make for a bit of a smoother ride than the Strider 4, but can't confirm as I have nothing to compare my DLX against. It's super maneuverable though. I was doing tight little circles in my corridor to test it out.

I just can't wait until I get to actually put it to the test with my baby in it!!!

we haven't had a chance to really use it yet eiether, still got 6 weeks to go till bub comes, but we love it, its easy to switch between the different unitsand put up and down
we went with the kingfisher, its not a masculine blue I don't reckon, and we loved the cheerfulness of it we dont know if we're having a girl or boy yet either!

Hi girls...great to hear the revies about the strider deluxe. buying a pram has been doing my head in!!! I showed my husband the Strider 4 and the Enigma...he hated the strider...but after reading all the reviews on the enigma i'm definitley not buying it.

for those that have purchased their strider deluxe...where did you buy from? any suggestions are welcome!

The cheapest place I could find (even including the delivery) was from the babyzonedirect website. If you google it you can find it easily. It was on a really good special when I got mine so hopefully you can find it cheap too

What ever you do make sure you open it in the shop and check it! We got the boxes home and unpacked only to find the mesh part of the bassinette had got caught up when it was stitched and had a hole in it...I have spent the morning sending photo's trying to show it is a manufacturing fault...not mine!!! All sorted now but could have been avoided if I'd just checked it and now I have to wait for a new one and bub will be here next week

Oh I'm so glad you gals like your DLX prams. I'm thinking the kingfisher colour even though we dont know the sex yet, I also think it's a nice bubbly, fun colour.
Cant wait to hear more reviews

    Strider & Checkouts

Is it true that the Strider DLX does not fit through normal checkouts at the shops? Has anyone tried yet?

I haven't actually tried it yet, but was assured by the sales lady at the store (while we were still looking and before I bought it online) that it fits easily through a standard door frame and checkout counters...

Thought I'd drop in and let you know ...I love our strider.

We are using the bassinette for sleeping in down stairs during the day...fits through all our doors no worries. Haven't done the check out yet...but so easy to change from bassinette to pram etc...just love it!

    Strider Dlx Info

    Hi

We are also looking at purchasing the Strider Dlx with the infant carrier (we used one of these with our second child and it was priceless in the early weeks!!).

We were wondering though whether anyone had any experience on using it in the shopping centres and fitting it through the checkouts or through doorways? This is the only thing holding us back from buying one as the rear wheels look quite wide.

    Thanks
    KKB

    Steelcraft strider

I am loving the capsule that comes with the steelcraft strider, similar to the maxi cosi in Europe. Baby sleeps in the car and can easily be put on strider frame without being woken up. Great! I bought mine at pramwarehouse.com.au (861 dollars for capsule, bassinette and stroller) It is toffee colour as kingfisher seems very popular and was sold out, but I love the colour. It is very neutral and modern.

    HI everyone

I was hoping you could give me some new reviews on whether the Srider DLX system has worked well for you all.....for a few of you your babies have been born for a little while.

So any new feedback or is everyone loving it as they did when they unwrapped it?

    Any advice would be appreciated
