We have a "Beatrix Potter" theme - with a Peter Rabbit focus (cos we know Blake is a boy) The room is predominently pale lemon and white and the BP cot quilt has green pink and blue in it (my mum is making it for me). I found BP wall stickers (removeable) on Ebay and some lovely BP ripoff curtain fabric in yellow/cream at Spotlight. The next bubba will have to share this room. If its a girl we will go with more Jemima Puddleduck for her "side" of the room.

We are having an animals theme - we aren't finding out bubs sex but pretty much everything we have so far has some sort of animal on it... mostly zoo animals.

We are renting so won't paint and the walls are cream, blinds are cream, carpet is cream - you get the idea lol it is all very rent friendly

we didnt find out what we were having either... we painted the room pale green and chose pastel winnie the pooh for the theme. we have now ought some girly things to go in there, but it means we can use it all again for the next bubs.... plus its one half of our wir and we didnt want to repaint after we were done having babies.

we knew the sex of our DD, but werent really into the gender thang. we were renting so were not able (or rather willing to spend! LOL!) on painting the walls. so researched into vinyl stick ons for the wall. found some really great brightly coloured and BIG stick ons with fishies and submarines and mermaids. all in bright primary colours. it really livened up the room.
the theme we have going for the new house is a woodlands one. this is a little less 'bright' and consists of 5 foot vinyl stick on trees and birds and owls and rabbits that will be placed along all the walls. the main rabbit is totally cute and is about 2 feet tall! love him! they are all in black. so look more like silhouettes.

the window furnishings are basic ATM with just blockout blinds. but with all the wall decals it actually works nicely...

    some good inspiration in here!

We've gone mocha coloured furniture, but I was so surprised though to see just how expensive cot sheet/quilt sets are! We know that we're having a girl, but we decided to go with the Katie Little "Savannah" set which is a gorgeous pastel green and cream with giraffes so that we can use it for future bubs regardless of gender. So I found some cute bookends in the same green on ebay, and will accent the room with some pastel pink, cream and green toys and cushions etc.

I'm also a huge Beatrix Potter fan and have found the cutest stuffed Peter rabbit, Mrs Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck toys. We are due to move into our new house though about 3 weeks before bub is due so i wont have too long to set it all up!
