    Old School Emmaljunga Help

    Hi guys,

I have been given an old school Emmaljunga pram (YAY!) and have the toddler seat attachment....but have NO idea on how to attach it! I have been fiddling around and have looked at some pics, but it has me stumped!

Do you guys know where and how to fix it onto the pram?

I have one, but I don't use it any more. I remember two little black knobs which attach to either side of the bar on the sides of the pram, sort of above the toes of a small baby in the pram. Not the bumper bar, you need to remove that. You have to line up the teeth of the knobs and... I think screw them together. I'm not much help, am I? Am I making any sense at all?? It was DH's job to attach the toddler seat, I'll ask him if he remembers!

Can you go to a pram shop and ask? Even play with a new version. Depending on how old it is, it may be the same/similar.
I remember playing with one in a shop. It wasnt easy.
I really wanted one but they were twice the price of the Silver Cross, which we got instead. Enjoy.

I had a bertini which was kind of similar. I had to remove the bar that goes across the knees and the hood. The seat clipped into where they connected and the hood connected into the back of the support bar of the seat.

    Mystery solved!!!!!

In the end I got onto ebay and checked out the other prams and with a bit of tweaking and cursing managed to have the lightbulb moment that there was an allen key involved.

With the emmaljunga classic, they have the toddler seat attached to the handlebar . it is quite strange! so you have to un-screw the bolt and clip it onto the handlebars and then clip on the toddler seat...does that make sense lol?

It works an absolute treat! and the girls think it is heaps of fun to whizz around in

Thanks for all the brainstorming girls!! It was bugging me no end!

I never used a toddler seat but I really miss using my Emmaljunga pram... it was my most favourite thing when my kids were little. *sigh* now it's getting dusty and i day dream of pushing around my grandchildren in it. My eldest child is now 17 and so it might not be too long to wait. I just love the metal-ness of it... as opposed to the plasticy-ness of most modern prams.
