Talking Outdoor infant swing on a frame?

    Hi,

We are moving house soon and we are looking to purchase a swing for our 8mth old DD for outside..... you know the one's that hang up under a patio or something? The Fisher Price one's? Well we want one like that but that's on a frame.... my friend has one for her little girl that she picked up 2nd hand at the baby markets.... I can't find one brand new....(or 2nd hand for that matter).....

Do you know where I could find one? We need one that is on a frame on the ground because our new house doesn't have anywhere outside where we can hang the swing up safely.... unless we hang it downstairs in the garage perhaps but I think outside would be more fun!!

DD borrowed her friends swing and loved it!!! So we want to get her her own. We've tried ebay and no luck there yet.

    Thanks

Could your DH make the frame and then you can hand the fisher price swing? A diy swing set. Do you have room for that? THere are swing sets on ebay too... But again. not sure how mugh room you have... GOod luck. DS loves his swings, but we dont have one at home... it is at Nans...

We have the little fisher price swing for indoors and we got this at a baby shop, is it one of the battery operated ones or just a normal little swing?
Is there any way it could hang off one of the jolly jumper stands or something maybe?

It's not the battery operated one, it's the one for infants 9mths + if you have a look on the fisher price website you'll see what I mean.. you push them on it.... not sure if i can post a link.

My friend picked up hers from baby markets once, 2nd hand, its awesome! I hope I can find one soon.....

    Got a tree anywhere?

Why not the clothesline? We hung DS's Jolly Jumper off the clothesline - it was funny as heck...

PMSL!! That would have been funny....

Nah this property we are moving to, doesn't actually have many trees!! Which is good actually less maintenance for us

We might look at getting her the hanging swing and hang it up in the garage for now... she can sit there and watch daddy work on his mini moke

Socks - thank you for doing that search for me! Unfortunately its not what I'm after... needs to be a swing for a baby/toddler... with the safety harness etc.....

    I'll keep looking.

I thought you could put a fisher price swing on the frame? Then as she grows you just put those other seats on... I had my fisher price swing on a hills swing set frame and just took it off when the kids grew out of it...

We know that the fisher price gets the best reviews among travel swings, which sit closer to the ground than full-size swings. I think that this might better for you to use.

Well back in probably November now I think it was, my DH decided to build a timber swing frame for DD's swing and it looks awesome!!! He did it all himself. And we bought a cute swing we found on the internet, not a plastic one a material sorta one its really comfy and DD loves it!!!

Ah i was going to suggest bunnings. DD got a swing on a metal frame there
it seats 2 people. She has had it since 8mths and still uses it and she's 2yrs

You can go bunnings website and search Sommersault Kitty Baby Swinger

But i guess a swing built by Daddy is way more meaningful than one purchased so good on your DH!
