Question for Ergo users - please don't laugh!

Ok, so bit of a maybe silly question here - but if you're out with bub in the ergo and don't have anyone with you to take bub for a spell, how do you go to the loo? Or do you try to only go out for short trips where you won't need to?

Um. I used to just keep DD2 in the ergo. One of the benefits of being hands-free

I sit on loo with child in ergo done it many times, do have issues at times getting jeans done up as tends to be just at wrong spot but doable.

I go to the toilet all the time wearing ds. When you're out on your own there isn't really much else you can do. No biggie in my eyes

Same! I just go for it! Once, DH was wearing DD and we were at the RCH. I was busy, so DH went into the baby change room and went to the loo wearing her He said it was odd.

Yes me too, now have an older one who has just TT have learnt that kids think toilet time is a time to share anyway so going with a little one in a carrier seems less weird. My DD sometimes insists on holding my hand when I go because she likes here held so surely I must! Sometimes I think bring on going back to work so can use toilet in peace.

Heh, thanks girls - I thought that might've been the answer just well...I've been allowed to visit the loo on my own for a while and had to wrap my head around having company again this soon

Yep, definitely just go in with them in the carrier haha I found that easier than nowdays when the toddler is threatening to escape out the gap of the bottom of the door or trying to help me wipe lol

I just go with DS in the ergo. I'm not a skirt wearer but I have a friend who is and she will only wear a skirt if she knows it'll be a long time with her DS in the ergo. I just deal with the small struggle to do pants back up properly

Yep! i was going to say the same. Or 'helping' by opening the door while you are peeing, or looking under the wall at the person next door.

I've done it. As others have said it can be a bit awkward but then so is weeing your pants

I not only wear my baby to the toilet, but I talk to her while I'm doing my business. Loudly (talk, that is. I do my business quietly).

If people think I'm a crazy lady, that's probably because I am. Actually, I really miss my kids when I'm out alone because I have no excuse to talk to myself.

I didnt even think about it, if I need to go my pelvic floor isnt strong enough to hang on for too long
I did think eeeww one time when DH took DD into the mens toilets in her pram, to use the urinal !
Oh the good ole days of a solo wee, thats one of those things that should be on the no one ever tells you list!
