I have just bought one and only used it a few times and bub#2 isn't here yet but I LOVE it! I have had the Steelcraft Transction and also the Strider 3 and the P & T pram is great! So light, easy to fold and steer and the way you can move the doubles kit from front to back is great as well.
There are lots of people with them on here who love them so I am sure you will hear from them soon. One of my belly buddies swore black and blue that she would never get one, had a double stroller and a twin Mountain Buggy and she recently succumed to one and loves it! (You know who you are!)
I'll be watching this thread with interest too... my sister recently bought a P&Ts for her first bub, they both seem to love it! Auntie OP has had many a go, I can now steer it one handed through a shopping centre (woo) and its quite easy to manouvere (sp?) into baby change rooms etc.
I think we'll end up getting one too (thankfully Nanna and Pop are buying one for their second grandchild, phew!) but interested to hear other comments...
I like the Dash, & thats great you can put the seat front or back. Would you but the newborn in the bottom seat or my son who'll be 23mths when this one is born?
I have the sports, and it's fantastic. When Emily was a newborn, I had her on the bottom and Nina in the toddler seat on top. It steered really well with both girls in it and It folds easily. I now have Emily up top and Nina in the toddler seat down the bottom. Nina is able to poke her head around and see Emily still, She isn't able to get hold of the wheels, which is a good thing.
ButterflyB - the heaviest baby always goes onto the front, so you have the doubles kit on the front while newborn is flat, then when younger baby is big enough to sit up a bit, they can go in the doubles kit at the back and the older/heavier bub goes on the front. HtH!
ha ha Tan. Yes, I am the P&T's convert - I've got the sports. I find it great for the shops but still much prefer my double for proper walks.
Pros: light, easy to get around and steer with two kids, cool colours (very legitimate reason to buy one!)
Cons: DD#2 was too big in the newborn position before she was big enough to go into the toddler seat down the bottom (I carried her in a sling for about a month). I have to walk carefully so that I don't kick the toddler seat down the bottom with my shins - not too much of a problem in a flat shopping centre but a real PITA when out and about tackling hills.
If I weren't going to have kids close together I would recommend the mountain buggy. I miss my mountain buggy!
