Post Phil and teds Classic Buggy

I am currently expecting bub number 2 and need to get a pram that will accommodate a newborn and a 19 month old comfortably and that I will get a lot of use out of. My budget is very tight and I have been looking at the phil and teds classic buggy. Has anypne used it? Is it worth getting? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Hi...I got a Phil and Teds when I had my second baby. I really liked it, and had no problems with it, but my second baby was generally happier in a sling, while the first would sit in the pram. I used the second seat for shopping most of the time! This time I'm thinking of getting a small, light stroller, and do the sling thing again with the new bub. They all seem to come out with their own ideas about things though! My priorities this time are portability and ease of use (one handed if poss), as I'll be dropping off the first at prep, and in and out of the car a fair bit. The P&T's pram couldn't be folded up with the toddler seat attached...and so there was a bit of stuffing around putting it on and off each time. I'm not sure what the newer P&T's are like though....

Thanks for that. I currently have a strider that I can never manage to fold with the seat in so am constantly taking it on and off so removing the toddler seat is no hassle for me. I am going to the only baby shiop in town tomorrow to look and the buggy.

I love my strider, turns on a dime and so easy to push. I would love the strider plus but can't afford the $700 price tag. Aaawww well. Time to try something new.

Also wishing for a Strider Plus as we have the original Strider and LOOOVVVEEEE it so much, but on our current budget there is no way we can afford the $700 either.
BUT have found an e3 phil & teds for $20 at a garage sale in great condition ( how lucky are we ) and have bought the toddler seat to go on it. It's really easy to fold up and is lighter than the strider, it just doesn't feel as stable IYKWIM? Fitting two kids in any old how will be the priority I think....

I have a phil & teds vibe which is like heaven to push, it feels like pushing a stroller I cannot fault it, I just listed it on ebay though coz its time for a stroller i think coz I have 3 kids and need the boot space, not that it takes up a lot of space but once you have 2 school bags and a guitar in there its limited lol
