Does anyone have any feedback on the Phil & Ted's twin buggy?
I would like a side by side pusher that'll do for ages (as this one will go from birth straight thru to 4 yrs). Come this July I'll have a 18mth old and a newborn.
Space for the double is no issue as I have a station wagon, and I don't mind about being restricted at the shops - I pick my times to shop wisely lol!
I have a phil and teds twin pram and love it. I find it so easy to push and I can easily push it with one hand if I have to hold one of the babies for some reason. Sure it is wide but most twin prams are and like you said you just have to choose where you shop.
I had an 18 month old and a new born and i have a phil and teds but its not a side by side, i have the sports buggy with toddler seat and its great, my 18 month old can still recline a little and has been happy to sleep in it. It is easy to steer one handed to and its light and plenty of room left in my our sedan when its in, when seat is attached in upper position can still be folded with seat attached once bubs is older and the seat is on the bottom you have to remove it, but in saying that is easy to get off. I love it! Good luck deciding, it is a hard decision to make and i didnt make up my mind and get it till just a few weeks after DS2 was born.
I ended up with the Phil and Ted's sport - they had a special at the Adelaide Baby Expo and I couldn't resist.
I must say I am so glad we bought it as moving around the shops is hard enough with a pusher - let alone a side by side pusher. Plus I had visions of DD touching and waking the newborn lol - so I steered away with it...
Only problem I have (and it's probably that I am not using it correctly) is that yesterday I took it out for the first time and laid DD back and there was a big hole between her head and the back of the pusher - not so good to try and get her to sleep...Unless I just cover it with a blanket??
