thanks for ur help..it is that in between hard to tell time isn't it! I have heaps of winter clothes from Noah that will fit this one once it is cold it's just that I don't have much cooler stuff that will fit a newborn, if it's cooler.

I do have cooler 000 things from Noah that he wore when it went to spring so he was about 2-5months old but I don't think they would fit a newborn. Noah was 9pd 4.5 and 54cm long so not tiny and he was in 0000 and some 000 so maybe i should go back and check out what I have and if its cold, i have heaps of long sleeve and if its hot i have some 0000 stuff I have bought and see if some of the 000 summer stuff would work for a new born.

Man this doesn't get easier does it?? Always trying to work out what size for the season how big will they be lol

Don't stress hun. I know you want to get organised but you can wait and see how warm it is and if what you have is adequate. You can always use the short sleeved stuff, a wrap and an extra blanket in the short term. I am sure someone would be happy to go shopping for you and wash the clothes if you need to buy more.

It was warm in SA last year so DS wore singlets and wraps on some days and wondersuits and singlets on others.

Yup I agree, the short sleeve stuff is a goer because you'll likely be wrapping for the first little while. DD was a summer baby which was a pain because the only wraps we could use were muslin and even then it seemed too hot to wrap her. Better for bubby to be slightly cooler than warmer, and you can adjust with an extra layer (like a cardigan) or a warm wrap.
My bubs is due end of May, so it'll be close enough to winter, but I still have some lighter cotton/cooler stuff because I'll use wraps.
