Naomi 0 were you in baby bunting with us on thursday and over heard our conversation ? ok so we are in a different state but are you sure you weren't there in spirit, that is EXACTLY what DH said to me.

I had seen one on Ebay that was the right colour and style but the listing had ended by the time DH said to get it So I will keep my eyes open for one.

We have decided on a Swallow Papa Glider (I need the extra room for my butt ) and I would like it in a cream colour.

Now we know we're having a little princess I have decided that the teddy wall stickers in the nursery are a bit too boyish so have ordered some in a different teddy design with lilac tones, DH has convinced me to leave the nursery as it is (at least until bubby comes home)

Thank you all for the compliments on the room too, it took me about 4 months to complete from start to finish and was all done by hand (no rollers, brush only) so it really means a lot when people say how nice it is because I know how hard I worked on it

I think it's good how it is. I wouldn't have a cot right next to a window... too drafty/light/cool/hot/noisy and bugs seem attracted to the light etc. We have a large window in our nursery too but I found the change table was better infront of it.

Rockers are good but yes, have one in the living area or near a source of entertainment... ideally a stereo... it's a bit more relaxing putting on some soft music at night rather than bubs having to listen to the potential chaos loud ads etc from a TV... especially at night. We had our rocker in our bedroom... near thick curtains so i could make the room dark... and near a stereo/radio. it worked well for my 2 youngest. HERE is a piccy.

Bathsheba it looks like a lovely relaxing spot where the chair is love the colour tones too. I wish I had a spot like that in our bedroom BTW your chair is exactly the style I want they are sooo comfy.
