Okay, it seems we couldn't wait, lol.
Have bought a BJ City Select off ebay - should be here next week hopefully!!! I'm so excited.
Thanks for all your recommendations, it really helped!

Oooh, so exciting!!! I'm getting one too!! Can't wait to hear what you think of it with two kids riding in it - be sure to update us!
Did you buy it from Aus or the US?
Through Aus, but shipping through the US I think.
I'll definitely update.
We got the pram a week ago, and I am very impressed! I am loving how easy it is to change the seats around. I first tried DD facing me closest to me, with DS in the front seat facing out. Now I'm trying out having DD in the front seat facing me and DS closest to me but facing out (so the kids face each other). I'm really loving this arrangement as DS gets to sit up higher and look around, and I can still see DD.
The weather hasn't been great here, so I've only been out for two walks so far - but it's been great! It steers really well and is even really good on bumpier footpaths.
It's a super easy pram to use. The seats are easy to swap around, it folds really well (and really flat!) and it seems like everything is adjustable!
It is a bit heavy lifting in and out of the car boot - but that could just be because I was used to a really light stroller before.
Overall I can't fault it and I'm really looking forward to the weather improving so I can go out for lots of walks with the kids!
I'll post a link to a photo soon when I'm not on my phone.

That looks awesome!
Glad you like it!! I'm loving it too!! So easy. A bit heavy yeah, but I thought all of them were heavy and I am pretty weak, LOL.
I'm taking my DH pram shopping (browsing) today to decide between the bjc select and the bjc mini doubleI'm a pram whore so loving the "need" for a new one!
I just bought our City Select package last night!! I ended up getting everything from the States as I desperately wanted the amethyst (deep purple) one and it's not available in Aus until December. I'm so excited!!!
So gorgeous!!!
More proof the P&T was the right choice for us though. My bubba would be kicked in the head like that![]()
Yeah, I know. But we'd have to use it p&t style anyway. Cute pram. I saw a review comparing them and it suggested bj for closer age gaps and p&t for bigger age gaps. Depends on your needs![]()
We bought a strider initially and after a few problems we decided to get the bj city select. Thankfully we borrowed a friends first to try it and it didn't work at all for us. We found the seat configurations only really worked if bolt upright and ds2 was too little to be sitting like that at that stage. Ds2 wanted to be directly infront of me which left ds1 directly over the front wheels which made it impossible to go up curbs as I was trying to lift 15 odd kilos up and the pram would pull to one side if the ground wasn't level. I think it would be great for two babies or light children but as I give birth to giants it didn't work for us. We stuck with the strider and we now reckon it's the best pram out there for our needs and the best value for money.

So I went pram looking with my DH and now I'm just more conflictedI didn't like the city select, its seating just won't do what I "need" it too (both recline facing forwards or back to back) so it's out. DH didnt like the city ini double cos no travel system (thats avail in Aus and the US one is pretty crap IMO) so we may be moving onto the Stider Plus 4? I have a capsule and bassinet (from my cruiser) that will fit and it so much cheaper...looks like the one we'll end up with!
Amaunet- not sure if you know??? but the bassinette doesnt work on the strider with the toddler seat
main reason i bought my BJ select was for the bassinette and toddler seat
on the strider the bassinette sits too far back leaving no real room for the toddler even with the extenders but im pretty sure the travel system fits with the toddler seat
i was told when i brought my strider you cant use the bassinette with toddler seat cause it comes to far back and no room for toddlers head but you can use the capsule on it we ended up selling ours pretty much after ds4 grew out of the capsule and ended up with a city mini double
