I havent heard of it Ren but it sounds interesting.
I was looking on Ebay at this product. Haven't heard much about it.... does anyone here use one? Do you like it? Is it worth buying?
DD sleeps in her cot as she outgrew her hammock at 11 weeks! She didn't like it anymore. Anyway, she moves around ALOT and she is in a sleeping bag some times and other times she's wrapped. I do worry she'll be able to roll onto her tummy and get stuck as she is very strong and already has rolled over once. (during play time)
Just wanted to hear about it before I considered buying one. Is it a waste of money? Is it comfortable for babies?
TIA![]()
I havent heard of it Ren but it sounds interesting.
I used one when I was a nanny a few years ago. The little guy was one of twins, he was 6 months old and could roll back to front but not front to back. He was a great sleeper, but at night he would roll himself onto his tummy and get frustrated because he couldn't roll back. So he had one, and it worked so well for him.
Once they're able to roll front to back, though, you don't need to use it anymore. And I'm sure there's some babies who they won't work for - the super active wriggle bots, like the twin's brother, but he didn't mind where he slept. As his mum said @He's fall asleep hanging from the rafters if we let him.
I'd say go for it.
Ren - from Day 1 i used a SAFE N SOUND roll thingy its adjustable to however big or small bub is - and it has been great - we stopped using it for the first time last night!
HJ - do you mean like those two cushion type things that wedge either side of the baby? Cos we have one of those and have used that since day 1 also but she squirms up and out of it and can move all around the cot LOL
Yeah that thing - B used to do that too! i forgot about that -hmmmm those Safe T Sleep things do look good tho! so they would work - but if Ava can hold her head up and stuff im sure she would be pretty right! im bad for that and am always paranoid about B of a night time! but she is pretty strong now so im sure she will be right!
Renstar - I used the safe t sleep when my DD was a bit older about 7-8mth I think coz she would move around in the cot so much she wouldn't sleep. It was a god send - loved it. I used for about 6mths. With the safe t sleep on she would go to sleep within 15mins (opposed to 1hr+). The only problem is it can become a sleep association and they can't sleep without it so you have to take it everywhere with you and weaning off it can be difficult but all doable.
My personal opinion is they are worth every cent.
Sorry hun, i have to disagree hereI hate to say Lilli could go back to front, but still i found her face down. Im still not sure if this had anything to do with her passing, but im ot taking the risk this time.
Ren - Ive already bought one for this bubs. Ive reserached just about everything now for safe sleeping, and think this little idea is GREAT!!!! Ill be using it with bubba girl's gro-bags.
Used one for Lily from 3mths until around 2yrs(it was her security and couldnt sleep without it in the end). Because she used to roll intot he side of her bed. Worked a treat. I love it. I also used it for Charlie. Havent needed it so far for Orson as he doesnt move at all when asleep but once he can roll i'll be using it then.
Rach - oh I'm so sorry to hear of your loss![]()

I'm definitely going to buy one. Thank you girls. You've sold it to me!
At the moment, she is in one of those "little beds" you can buy for your adult bed, you know the ones? We tried that with her in our bed co-sleeping but it was too squishy and we didn't have any room for us!
So it's in her big cot and her in it. Seems to stop her rolling all around the cot and then getting her head stuck at the end of the cot in the corner which is what was happening and then she'd scream out as she was scaredShe's a real wriggler considering she's only 4mths old.
I'll look at getting one this week. She will outgrow this "little bed" very soon... its really only for infants up to 6mths.
First 11wks she slept in a baby hammock but soon she was almost rolling over in it.... and I was so frightened she'd get stuck and suffocate!!
