I had a seed organic cradle and LOVED it. We (very sadly) sold it on ebay not long ago, as we just didn't have room to store it anymore, and we have now completed our family. I found it very functional, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The insert is quite big and deep which meant that DD2 could sleep in it until she was seven months old. The latex mattress is so soft and has breather holes to allow for air flow, which is great in warmer weather. I guess it is a little bit 'wobbly', but that actually worked in our favour, because DD2 seemed really comforted by the slight movements. It's certainly not unstable though. The only thing is, with sheets, you will need to get the larger size ones (for a boori cradle). There's a range of bamboo sheets (brand is little bamboo) that fit perfectly and are sooo soft and lovely. Good luck hun... i'm certain you will be happy with it if you decide to get one.

    Thanks all.

Lime - the Cariboo is gorgeous, very nice selection.

Mooks, I'm glad that the Seed Cradle worked for you. Thanks for the advice.

After a bit more searching I've found some gorgeous bassinets made by Wicker & Loom - totally different to the Seed Cradle (typical me LOL!) but I'm being pulled by sentimental reasons right now so I'm going with my heart.

Kate - I know, super exciting. I can just picture DD in the one I like, now I just need to get her home!
