thanks mrs Mathews. i was hoping so. will decide in a few weeks when i pick it all up.

Ali, i looked at the bright sparks swing but thought it looked a cheap and nasty, do you know anyone who has one? for $64 i will think about it a bit more but i would never pay full price for it.

Vixstar, i like te idea of the Ikea antilop for the cleaning reason, but doesnt look really supportive or like it has straps either (ony ever seen pics) but does look so easy to clean!

Nettie, thanks for the tip onn the suits. i was considering stocking up, but wil wait til i try them first.

Fiona. no dbl in my store either.

the website is great. I put everything i was interested in on the shopping list and printed it out. then i could check prices, tick off the list, and compare savings as i went. dh was impressed with the savings too!

he said to me "how much did you spend today?" i said "no no hunny.. dont worry about that... ask me how much i SAVED today!"

myson - The Ikea Antilop has a lap harness, I never use it though because there is no way DS2 could get out! (I never leave him unattended in it though ). You can buy a blow up cushion insert for $10 for smaller babies so they can sit up with more support. HTH

    Good Morning All,

I looked at the bright sparks swing also and I agree with myson it looks a bit cheap, although at 50% off i guess its a bargain!.. However, the reason I didn't get it was b/c I don't think it would hold the child past 4 mnths it looked very small.

The breast pump seemed to be popular with alot of people at my local target store - why would you need a breast pump?

for those who are BF, the pump could be a huge help in expressing milk for feeding when mum isn't available (dad to feed, day care, stocking up before the birth etc)

as it stands, i'm at risk of gestational diabetes and was told when i was booking at the hospital that they would ask me to start expressing and freezing breast milk from 36weeks so that we have a stock ready for when Gremlin arrives - babies of GD mum's (or any with unstable blood sugars at birth) will be fed every three hours (rather than on demand) and sometimes mum just doesn't have the milk to keep up with this demand...

    I had fun!
Got some cloth nappies in bright colours (not using cloth but just thought they'd be handy for burping etc).
2 pack of bassinette matress protectors for $5
    Cot sheets for $10
    A pack of 2 hooded towels for $10 or $15, can't remember
Mirror for car for seeing baby in car seat
    Sun shades for car
Baby nail clippers for like $2, lol

I think that's it. Maybe I should have looked at breast pumps, hmmm..... I don't know anything about which is best tho.

How cute are those little fluffy jackets with the ears on the hood!! lol. I wanted one but no idea what size baby will be when the weather is right for wearing it.

I was so disappointed. Castle hills tore didnt have anything that i wanted from my list!

I have a frriend who has the Bright stars swing but in pink and got it from babies galore. The only problem with it is that it requires batteries and you use a set of batteries everyday so can work out rather expensive overall.

I did get this plush seat on layby that helps to support baby sitting up when that time comes. It is adorable.
