I feel like I am giving all my money to the babython sale @ target. Went to our local shopping center to get a battery for my watch and ended up also purchasing the Fisher Price Rainforest Highchair (thank goodness the sale is still on)!!

FJ - you seem to have a bit of experience with double prams You obviously think this one is OK? Took DH to St Marys today but they had nothing Thinking about going back down tomorrow on my own and seeing if they've got any left at Penrith. They only had 4 so they're probably gone but can't hurt. I also want to see if they've got any of those cots Danielle was talking about, they didn't have any at St Marys.

Don't worry... if the babython bag is the same everywhere it's a complete waste of time. Bottle teats (and not even for the ones we use!), sippy cup, bib, mesh stroller bag, child on board sign, safety door latch and a sample of johnson's baby wash.

I went again today, couldn't help myself, lol. Got that nappy bag that was $25 down from $50. Bargain. Looks pretty good, comes with a change mat and has enough space and compartments for me.

I wanted to get that cute furry jacket with the ears but there was only size 0's left and I thought bub would be the wrong size in winter

SJ - i deliberately got the jacket in an O - i figured it's the sort of thing i'd be more likely to put on over a summery outfit if bub got cool late in the day - during winter, more likely to use wraps for warmth kwim?

    Willow
I was in there on Saturday & there was 2 left, 1 after I lay-byed it.
They also had a stack of cots that were $90 something bucks if thats what your after, there was at least 6 or more.
The stroller. This is what I like. Ok I have had a limo style pram, Found it too long & hard to weave in & out of people. also takes up alot of space in boot. I have weak knees so I needed something that would turn with out too much effort. I got rid of the limo.
I got & still have a jog with toddler seat. This is good except its a bugger to fold down & up as you need to remove the toddler seat & while you can fold it to be rather small, its still a 5 minute job to do so. Its also big & bulky to get around the shops in.
Also the child in the top seat can get out of the straps easily & I was scared Isla would stand up all the time. It was great for my walking pram so I will probably keep a hold of it as I want (need) to start walking again.
Have a cheap side by side that I got of ebay. Its good for what it is but its cheap and well, cheap LOL.
The one I have that is pretty much the same as the one in target I also got off ebay, from one of the auction house style sellers. Its ok but I found it too be too wide. I get stuck going in to JB HIFI & have to aim perfectly to get through a standard doorway other wise I am stuck. BUT the one in target is at least 7 inches thinner, I lined them up & it was at least a whole wheel width smaller. so I know i will get though those doorways I usually get stuck in. The only down side to this pram is the smaller baskets underneath & the seat doesn't fully go flat.
But to combat those two problems I just hang my nappy bag on the handles behind Isla's side for storage & to stop Iain sliding down too far I wedge a rolled up wrap between his bum & the strap that comes up between his legs. I also have a head snuggle thingy for him so he doesn't flop to the side.
But Ipulled it down & wheeled it around a bit & it feels good. I like it because I can fold it up & then slide it behind the passenger seat in the van & I have my boot back. With all my other prams if I needed food shopping I couldn't take the pram as I had no space for shopping if I did. But now it don't matter & really the one in target is compact enough to use with just iain.

The Umbrella stoller that fits the capsule that we got I couldn't raincheck coz t wasn't on the list they had I might try again one more time before the sale ends. I ended up buying a second nappy bucket, some little outfits in blue coz if our's is not a boy, a few friends are having boys around the time our bub is due. I also got 3 maternity tops and a pair of maternity crop pants.

Thanks for all that info FJ. I took DH in with me this morning and we got the last stroller We went to a baby shop first to have a look at the more expensive models to compare them, width etc and we were pretty happy with it for that price. DS would be almost 2 when bub arrived so I'm not sure how long I'll really need a double so couldn't justify the $600+ they want for the Maclaren

I had a look again for the cheap cots but couldn't see anything. They only cots they had were like $200+ - Do you remember where exactly in the store they were?? They probably sold out over the weekend They've sold out of the Angelcare monitors too.

there were on the floor at the end of the isle that the stroller was in. So as you walked down the main isle towards the baby section, you have baby clothes, then the section baby seats are on then the next row that the double stroller was in, they were on the floor stacked up next to that across from the shoes. It may have been the toddler bed that I am thinking of if its not the cot. I didn't look hard I just assumed it was the cot.

Yeah FJ, they were the toddler beds, I did see those. I don't think we had the cheap cots at our store. I was there twice and didn't see them. Ah well, was too good to be true! LOL.

    Thanks for your help!

There may not be another huge sale... but quite often they have select items at up to 50% off
ie: a certain carseat, or pram etc.

And other weeks they have 20% off certain brands (Nuk, Avent etc)
